E & P Carpet and Tile Cleaning utilizes an 11 step process that will leave your carpets clean, fresh, sanitized, and looking their best!
- Step 1: Pre-Inspection – Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually evaluate the carpet. He will measure the areas to be cleaned and provide an estimate for services. He will also identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results, as well as listen to any concerns or needs you may have.
- Step 2: Furniture Moving – Our regular pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables, and smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces are an additional cost to move. Our technician will provide this estimate. When furniture is returned to original location after the cleaning process, protective tabs will be placed under furniture legs to prevent staining.
- Step 3: Pre-Spray – A pre-treatment is applied to emulsify and break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough cleaning.
- Step 4: Pre-Spot – Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to enhance chances of removal.
- Step 5: Pre-grooming/Agitation – A professional carpet groomer or brush is used to further loosen the soil.
- Step 6: Steam Cleaning & Extraction – The carpet is then thoroughly steam cleaned, rinsed, and the water extracted using a powerful extraction cleaning system without over wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind. Door guards are placed in doorways to protect your walls.
- Step 7: Neutralizer – Every carpet that we clean is pH balanced afterwards. This leaves your carpet soft and fresh.
- Step 8: Post Spot – Any spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many specialty spotting solutions. *For longer carpet life and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector applied to your carpet.
- Step 9: Post-Groom – Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position, if this is desired.
- Step 10: Specialty Drying – One of the most important aspects to a professional carpet cleaning service, high velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to enhance drying. This step prevents “wick back”, browning, and mildew.
- Step 11: Post Cleaning Inspection – Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the job.
